What is the difference between building my own trek and booking a ready-made package?

When you build your own trek, you select the individual services you need through the TorresHike booking system. You hike independently, without a guide, and remain responsible for choosing a suitable itinerary, arranging any transport that is not included and following current park rules and trail restrictions.

A ready-made package is a pre-designed program organized by a local Chilean travel agency. It may include accommodation, meals, transport, activities and other services. Some packages include a guide, while others are self-supported and allow you to hike independently.

Build Your Own Trek bookings are completed through the online booking system. For a ready-made package, you first submit an inquiry so that availability can be confirmed with the operating agency.
