Do I need a permit to hike in Torres del Paine?
You do not need a separate hiking permit, but every visitor must have a valid entrance ticket for Torres del Paine National Park.
For the 2026/2027 season, there are two types of entrance tickets:
- A one-day ticket
- A multi-day ticket valid for up to 10 consecutive days
You can purchase your ticket directly at https://www.pasesparques.cl/en. If you booked your trek through TorresHike, we can also arrange it for you.
TorresHike clients can choose between two options:
- Immediate purchase – we purchase the ticket as soon as possible.
- Pre-order – we purchase the ticket approximately 10 days before the start of your trek.
The pre-order option is especially useful if you expect to update your passport number or other personal details before your trip.
