What is the best way to get to Torres del Paine?

Puerto Natales is the closest town and main gateway to Torres del Paine. Most travelers reach it in one of three ways:

• Fly from Santiago to Puerto Natales when a suitable flight is available.
• Fly to Punta Arenas and continue to Puerto Natales by bus or rental car.
• Travel by bus from El Calafate in Argentina, crossing the border into Chile.

From Puerto Natales, you can take a scheduled bus or drive to the park. The correct destination depends on your itinerary: use Pudeto for the catamaran to Paine Grande or Laguna Amarga for the shuttle to the Welcome Center and Torres Central.
