Are there grocery stores, snacks or drinks inside the park?
There are no full-sized grocery stores along the W Trek or O Circuit, but most operating campsites and refugios sell at least some food and drinks. The available selection varies considerably by location:
- Paine Grande: A well-stocked minimarket selling basic groceries, snacks, drinks and cooking fuel. Pizza and burgers are available from the à la carte menu, and there is also a bar.
- Grey: A well-stocked minimarket selling groceries, snacks, drinks and cooking fuel, together with a restaurant serving burgers and pizza and a bar offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Dickson: A minimarket with snacks and basic supplies, a restaurant serving burgers and pizza, and a bar offering beer and wine.
- Francés: A small selection of snacks is available at the check-in kiosk. The restaurant in the refugio area offers additional snacks and drinks, as well as pizza and burgers.
- Cuernos: Snacks are sold at the check-in desk. The restaurant serves pizza and sandwiches, and the bar offers beer, wine and other drinks.
- Chileno: Snacks are available at the check-in counter. The restaurant has a small à la carte menu that may include burgers, quesadillas and sandwiches. Coffee and beer are also available.
- Torres Central: Snacks are sold inside the main refugio building. The restaurant offers food such as pizza and sandwiches, and there is a bar serving beer, wine and cocktails.
- Serón: Snacks are available at the check-in desk, together with a small à la carte menu that may include pizza and burgers.
- Los Perros: Only a small minimarket selling basic groceries, snacks and essential items is available. There are no prepared or à la carte meals.
The selection, opening hours and availability depend on seasonal supplies. Hot à la carte food may only be served before the kitchen begins preparing pre-booked dinners, and popular items can sell out later in the day.
