How far in advance should I book accommodation in Torres del Paine?

Book as early as possible once your dates are reasonably firm. Accommodation capacity is limited, and popular date, particularly from November to February, can sell out well in advance.

For a multi-day trek, the available overnight stops need to form a practical itinerary. On the O Circuit, some campsites must be visited in the required order. The W Trek allows more flexibility, but your chosen campsites should still follow a logical sequence based on your hiking direction, daily distances, trail opening hours and transport connections.

If one important campsite is unavailable, you may need to adjust the dates, direction or length of your trek. Booking several months ahead is therefore recommended, even outside the busiest period.
