W Trek

West to East - 3 days

To fully appreciate the W Trek we strongly recommend to stay more than 3 days. But if you are short on time or other options have been already booked the 3 day hike might be just for you.

Day 1 

Start on day one by taking a bus at 7am to the park entrance and then continuing on the bus to Pudeto. Please note that the bus ticket is not a part of this booking and you should book it in Puerto Natales or online in advance. You will the…n board a Catamaran to Paine Grande enjoying the beautiful view on the way across the Pehoe Lake. The boat ride is not a part of this booking and should be booked in advance. After you'll arrive at Paine Grande you'll start trekking towards Italiano campsite and then through the magnificent Francés Valley all the way up to Mirador Britanico (please be aware that you need to start trekking up to Britanico before 3pm when the trail gets closed). You can leave your bags at Italiano campsite to save some weight. Alternatively, you can leave your bags at Paine Grande and then hike up and down the trail leading to Grey to see the magnificent Grey Glacier and then trek back to your accommodation (this would be recommended only for very fit hikers). Either way you will spend the night either in Francés or Cuernos.

Follow the lake all the way to either Torres Central & Norte or Chileno

Day 3 

See the famous Towers Torres del Paine. If you stay at Chileno you can even make it for the sunrise. After that you'll walk back to Torres Central & Norte to catch the shuttle bus to the park entrance (Laguna Amarga) and from there, you'll …take the bus back to Puerto Natales.
