O Trek

From Paine Grande - 8 days

One of the O Trek all time favourites. Compared to the `From Serón` variant the advantage is that you walk the W part of the trek first and don't have to carry all the food through the more challenging O part of the trek. On the other hand you'll have to take the Catamaran twice - once entering and once leaving the park.

Day 1

Start by taking a bus at 7am to the park entrance and then continuing on the bus to Pudeto. Please note that the bus ticket is not a part of this booking and you should book it in Puerto Natales or online in advance. You will then board a Catamaran to Paine Grande enjoying the beautiful view on the way across the Pehoe Lake. The boat ride is not a part of this booking and should be booked in advance. After arriving at Paine Grande you will continue to the magnificent Francés Valley all the way up to Mirador Britanico (please be aware that you need to start trekking up to Britanico before 3pm when the trail gets closed). You can leave your bags at Italiano campsite to save some weight. After going down you can spend the night either in Francés or Cuernos.
