Into the French Valley
2-hour total by private transfer35 minutes in catamaran each way7 to 8-hour hike, 17 km / 10.5 miRiverside Camp (double deluxe shared tent)Box lunch, dinner

Our day begins at 6:00 AM in Puerto Natales, where your guide and private transport will pick you up at your accommodation.

Upon entering the National Park, we will cross Lake Pehoé by catamaran and reach the starting point for today’s roundtrip hike. Our destination will be the Francés Valley, where we’ll be greeted by a massive glacial moraine. You’ll climb over rocks and see the hanging glacier at the top of the valley for the first time.

From this point, we will ascend for an hour through a dreamlike Japanese garden landscape before reaching the viewpoint of the French Valley, Le Plateau.

On one side, we’ll find the Francés Glacier and Paine Grande (3,050 m / 10,006 ft.); while on the other, the peaks of La Espada, La Hoja, La Máscara, and the main and northern “horns” of Los Cuerno
s rise dramatically. At the top of the valley, Cerro Catedral and Cerro Fortaleza tower over the landscape like turrets.

Here, we will have some time to enjoy lunch at the viewpoint, surrounded by these imposing peaks and open skies. The return to our accommodation, where a welcome dinner awaits us, will be along the same path.

After a breakfast, our private transfer will take us to the Grey area, where we’ll begin a walk through a beech forest inhabited by woodpeckers, leading us to the shores of Lake Grey. After a 30-minute hike, we’ll board a 3-hour boat ride that navigates among blue-toned icebergs toward the towering face of the Grey Glacier (Glacier Grey), where we’ll pause to admire its textures, lines, and colors.

On the return journey, we’ll have the chance to spot the “ice mushrooms” sculpted by the wind atop the massive peaks of Paine Grande. Back on land, we’ll enjoy a picnic-style lunch followed by a short transfer, and then begin our hike to the Condor Lookout Point.

The ascent is steep and takes around 1 hour, but every step is worth it. As we gain elevation, the landscape opens up, revealing a p
anoramic view of Lake Pehoé and the Paine Massif in all its magnitude. From the summit, you’ll enjoy one of the most spectacular views in all of Torres del Paine: turquoise waters, rugged peaks, and a horizon that seems to go on forever.

This viewpoint is also one of the best places to spot the majestic Andean condor in its natural habitat, often soaring on the air currents that surround the ridge. A unique experience that blends challenge, nature, and an unforgettable view.

Round-Trip hike to the Base of the Towers
4-hour total by private transfer8 to 10-hour hike, 22 km / 13.6 miBreakfast, box lunch

The most challenging day, demanding stamina and determination, rewarding with unforgettable views. Begin hiking into Ascencio Valley, gradually ascending to Windy Pass—a beautiful but exposed section with strong gusts requiring careful guide instruction. Reach Refugio Chileno (last facility with bathrooms, food, internet).

Continue into lenga forest crossing small streams to a panoramic viewpoint. The trail climbs steeply up a massive terminal moraine, rewarding you with breathtaking views of the iconic Towers (Las Torres) and their soaring granite peaks.

Descend along the same route, requiring focus on moraine and loose rock sections. Forest sections offer shade and recovery before crossing Windy Pass again and descending to the meeting point for return to town.
